Marco Della Putta

Partner since 2010, Marco Della Putta principally provides economic and legal consultancy to companies and corporate groups in ordinary and extraordinary operations and M&As, with special reference to consolidated financial statements, including the application of international standards, and due diligence operations.

He has acquired a unique expertise in making valuations of intangibles (for tax or balance sheet purposes) and also as regards Purchase Price Allocations in financial statements prepared in accordance with IAS/IFRS. For listed clients he also provides assistance for the internal audit function with special reference to auditing foreign subsidiaries.

He sits on the board of statutory auditors of industrial groups and financial brokers as well as operating as an external statutory auditor and supervisory board member pursuant to legislative decree 231/2001. In addition, he is regularly appointed as a consultant for litigation requiring a court-appointed expert witness on matters of company valuation or accounting principles.

He graduated in Economics and Business from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and is entered on the Register of Certified Auditors and registered with the Association of Chartered Accountants and Expert Bookkeepers of Treviso.    

He worked with Ernest and Young from 1996 to 2011 as Senior Audit Manager and, in particular, as coordinator of an auditing team whose work included international remits. In this capacity, he was the operational manager and coordinator of EY auditing for the IPOs of the groups Geox, Nice and Ascopiave.

He has been and remains the liquidator for a number of companies, sometimes at direct appointment by the Veneto Region.
